This feature
allows you to select the registration fields to be included in your
study. You may select from a list of predefined fields or
create five custom registration fields.
You may also
determine if a registration field should be required and set
validation for certain registration fields.
If you will be
administering your study in more than one language, you will need
to enter custom registration text per language. To do so, first
expand the applicable custom registration section, and then expand
the applicable language section.
The
registration fields are administered immediately following the
consent forms or the welcome page when no online consent forms are
associated with a study. If you have not checked any registration
fields, study participants will not be administered any
registration fields and will be navigated directly to instrument
items after welcome and, where applicable,
consent.
The Ethnicity
and Race fields utilize responses recommended by current NIH
guidelines. For Ethnicity, participants are asked to indicate
if they are Hispanic or Latino, Not Hispanic or Latino, or Not
Provided. For Race, participants can select all applicable
categories, American Indian or Alaska Native, Asian, Black or
African American, Native Hawaiian or other Pacific Islander, Not
Provided, Other, and White.
