Study
This feature
allows you to review your study so that you may make any applicable
modifications prior to the start of data collection.
There are
several ways in which you are able to review your study.
First, you will have the option to view response score associated
with each response option during your data collection website
preview. If you do not wish to see the response score during
preview, change your response to the view item response scores
question to no.
You
will not need to modify the response score button in the Preview
Study page after launch to ensure responses scores are not
displayed to participants. Response scores will only be
displayed to participants once a study is launched when the Show
Response Score boxes are checked on the Item Detail
page.
The second
option available is study review is the Study Configuration
Report. The report allows you to review your study
configuration prior to launch. It is necessary to verify the
information in the report is accurate prior to launching your
study. The report contains details of your study set-up as entered
on the Advanced set-up tab, e.g. study arms, instrument blocks per
arm/assessment, administration engine etc. To open the report,
click the Export button. The report will open as a CSV file
and may be saved outside of Assessment Center. After you have
reviewed the report and if all elements are correct, check the
Approve box next to the Export button to confirm your
review.
The third
review option is to preview your study from the perspective of a
participant. Click on the Preview Study button to launch your
study to preview mode. The preview will show all study
details, e.g. language, items/instruments, administration engines,
instrument blocks per arm/assessment, etc as they will appear to
study participants during actual data collection. The data
collection pages will have a Preview watermark while in preview
mode.

The data
collection pages will have a watermark reading, Preview, while in
preview mode.
Finally, the
Preview Study page contains a Study Summary Report. This section
lists the end date, contact information, accrual goal, study URL
and start date as entered on the Basic Set-up page and should be
reviewed for accuracy. This report will also display warnings and
errors if they occur within your study. Warnings provide
information about problematic instrument elements but will not
prevent a study from being launched into data collection. Errors
detail issues within a study that could cause more serious data
problems. Therefore, studies cannot be launched until errors
are resolved.
Warnings
and errors can be identified by their accompanying
