Basic Study Setup

This feature allows you to define basic data collection details. The Basic Set-up page has defaults for all fields. These defaults should be reviewed and modified, where applicable, prior to defining Advanced Set-up parameters or Launching a study into data collection mode.

If you are planning a basic data collection, you may not need to access the Advanced Set-up tab. The options for instrument administration are limited. Basic study set-up only is best suited for studies that have a single arm, single time point, and do not require randomization of instruments. If no additional administration specifications are established within the Advanced Set-up tab, instruments will be administered as they are ordered on the study content page.

All fields, excluding Start Date and URL extension, on Basic Study Set-up may be modified after a study has been published to data collection. To make a change, simply modify the applicable field and click Save. The change will automatically be applied to the study. There is no need to re-deploy (click Launch button on Launch page) the study.
